Yesterday I finally broke down and did some research online to figure out why I am SO exhausted. I remember being tired with both my babies, but this is extreme, I literally fall asleep sitting up on the couch watching the girls, I have no energy, its awful!!
What I learned is that the drug Progesterone is paired with drowsiness. So not only is my body producing Progesterone for the pregnancy, but I am taking 3 doses of it DAILY! I read the drug actually makes women fall asleep in high enough doses....sooooooooo now I know!!!
And I am falling asleep writing this....oh WHY can't the girls nap at the SAME time?!?! I SO need some sleep!
By for now, next Tuesday is our BIG ultrasound, we hope to see a lil heartbeat, can't WAIT!!
Hugs :)

SURPRISE Early Ultrasound!
I went in today for routine bloodwork to make sure my levels were on track and I was surprised with a ultrasound! The techs kept telling me it would be too early to see anything, so not to get my hopes up....then BAM, the lil bean appeared cute as ever!!
We are sooooooooooooooo excited!! It is ALL becoming REAL now! Our official U/S is on March 31st and I am excited as N&A will be there to share the beauty with me. Until then I found out no more shots...YIPPEE...but I have to use a cream instead and have been told it is terrible, that the shots are better....bummer!
Take care and God Bless....keep us in your thoughts!

WE'RE PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WooooooooHoooooooooo!! Our pregnancy tests have started showing up POSITIVE! We are elated! Today I emailed N&A this photo with the caption "We're Pregnant"....N called me and sounded just ecstatic...her voice flooded me with all the reasons I am doing this journey. The excitement and hope in her voice was just AMAZING and I am on cloud 9 right now just thinking about the possibility in 9 months they will be Blessed with a beautiful child!
It has been a REALLY long weekend. Our babies were very sick last week, then this weekend I fell very ill. I just now have started to feel myself and I am thankful to have such wonderful family surrounding me who helped me care for my girls during this hard time. I am SO lucky :) I thought since I was feeling better I just HAD to test....Friday was far too long away!
Sooooo I tested and nearly FELL over when I saw the positive appear!! I cannot even convey the excitement...I practically screamed to Jason, its POSITIVE!! We are soooooooooo happy for N&A, we feel like they are part of our family now and we cannot wait to begin this 9 month journey with them...this is SO exciting!!
We love you N, A & A!!!

Snow Storm and Long Day!
Well...the biggest snow storm yet this winter hit today. This is wild because this is typical Michigan weather, but its MARCH in PA...geesh. And poor Jason is stuck at the airport in Philly trying to get a flight out to Nashville for work. He's been there all day and his flight still hasn't left. Crazy. Today Kiera was sick all day, she ended up throwing up on me twice :( Poor thing...I can hear her coughing as we speak, she just doesn't feel herself for sure.
So being inside all day made me a little stir crazy...I wanted to walk the mall or something to make the day go by a little faster, I can't help but wonder about our little miracle in there and how he or she is doing!! The next 2 weeks is going to be torture!!
11 days and counting...

Grow Baby Grow!!!!
Yesterday was amazing. A new life was put into my body and I hope and pray it find a home and snuggly home!
It started around 10am...we arrived at the clinic. Let me tell you I arrived with a OVER full bladder, everyone who knows me knows I have to use the bathroom a LOT. Well, I was told not to go on my way to the appt. So I held it...we got into the room pretty quickly and I continued to hold it. We then waited like 40 minutes for the doctor to come into the room...you guessed it STILL holding it! And for 30 minutes afterwards I still had to hold it...
But it was SO worth it! We saw a picture of the little miracle just moments before the transfer...the lil sweetie was so adorable! We got good news, what was a 6 cell embryo was a 8 cell by transfer time and was great quality, so we were very optimistic. The doctor transferred the embryo and immediately I felt this huge amount of responsibility to do everything in my power to create a perfect environment for the lil sweetheart to grow in.
We spent the rest of the day in a hotel relaxing. It was the most I have slept since Kaylee was born! So it was a very welcomed R&R...I am very grateful to N&A for making the day possible and giving us a wonderful break. I will keep this sweetheart in my thoughts and prayers...so begins the "2 week wait"...I am already counting down the days until our pregnancy test on 3-13!! It seems like an eternity away!
